The GDPR aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU

Personal data requested from potential candidates who applied to for the vacancies offered by A Step Away Solutions. Personal data is collected exclusively for the recruitment purposes.

III. THE PURPOSE OF SHARING THE DATA

The purpose. The purpose of sharing personal data is contacting potential candidates interested in vacancies offered by A Step Away Solutions and processing them to successful placement.

Benefits to A Step Away Solutions. Good practice, building professional recruitment network in the European Union, building relationship with third parties, confidence and protection of processed candidates.

Benefits to data subject. Being offered interesting vacancies available through the Company, receiving more information on other available vacancies, according to candidates’ preferences and qualifications, receiving new job and improving professional experience.

IV. COMPANY’S RESPONSABILITIES

A Step Away Solutions binds itself to protect the rights of individuals, companies and organisations, as well as to use, access and protect candidates’ data in compliance with GDPR. This means, that the Company especially binds itself to:

  • use the personal data of each and everycandidate who has applied for any of the Company vacancies solely for the maintenance of suitable Applicant records, to process recruitment applications and the adequate compliance with legal obligations.
  • retain the application on file until the position is closed or Applicant is considered processed (hired or rejected). At such time the Applicant shall be contacted to opt-in for future processing.
  • allow the Applicant to access all the personal and sensitive data held and processed by the Company
  • allow the Applicant to request modification all the personal and sensitive data held and processed by the Company
  • allow the Applicant to request to remove all the personal and sensitive data held and processed by the Company
  • allow the Applicant to request to withdrawal from a particular vacancy however retain all personal and sensitive data for future vacancies
  • allow the Applicant to request a copy of personal and sensitive data held and processed by the Company
  • allow the Applicant to request to withdrawal from future vacancies and the removal of all personal and sensitive data held and processed by the Company
  • share personal data with third parties – companies within its own group, dedicated to provide supporting services for candidates placed in the EU (offering accommodation, transportation, payroll, insurance, etc) – to let them contact the candidates for the future placement purposes only
  • hold personal data received from all Applicants in line with GDPR rules, ensuring that personal data is not lost, destroyed, damaged or stolen.
